Certification Requirements

Certification is earned by training, documented experience, and examination — nothing else.

  1. MD or DO with an unrestricted license in good standing.
  2. Completion of an accredited residency with substantial surgical training of the head and neck.
  3. Fellowship training in facial cosmetic surgery, or equivalent documented experience meeting the Board's case requirements across the full procedural range.
  4. Submission of case logs subject to audit and primary-source verification.
  5. Passing the Board's certifying examination.
  6. Ongoing recertification thereafter.
